With the long weekend halfway done, take in today’s beautiful weather to enjoy a good beer or two. Don’t know where to go? Try Dacha Beer Garden located in the heart of Shaw. Owners Dmitri Chekaldin and Ilya Alter are serious about the beer and food served here. Providing access to beer from Weihenstephan Abbey who claim to be the oldest brewery in the world as well as delicious organic sausages from Chicago, Dacha Beer Garden ups the ante. The Y’Oktoberfest celebration thrown by the Yelp community brought together sausage and beer lovers from around the District and although Oktoberfest is over in Germany, the great news is you can continue to enjoy the taste at Dacha Beer Garden all year long. What will GMF be ordering? Weihenstephaner’s Kristallweissbier and the Hungarian Spicy Kilometer on their pretzel bun. Don’t forget the mustard!
