If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it is that I love eggs (and brunch). So any restaurant that does not limit brunch to Saturday and Sunday (or even more blasphemous, Sunday only), is a winner in my book. I had one of my best brunches ever this week on Monday at Chef Bart Vandaele’s B Too.Head over to the 14th Street Belgian restaurant, order this, and you’ll be quite pleased. Here’s what to try:
- B Too bellini with crème de peche & white cranberry.
- Greek yogurt with mixed berries and granola from the “To Start the Day” Section. It’s honestly the best looking parfait in DC. *Make sure to ask for a jar of honey (or two).
- Maiswafel met varken: cornbread waffle, pulled pork, avocado, eggs sunnyside up, and sour cream. *This is what I’ve gotten twice after asking “If I like eggs, what should I get?” Legit.
Brunch is served during lunch hours, so you can get it any day until 4pm.

Tricia is a native Washingtonian, born and raised in Columbia Heights. She loves DC so much that she was only able to leave the city for one year after college and immediately came running back. She’s lived in Navy Yard for the last few years and is excited to see all the new restaurants finally moving into the neighborhood. Tricia works in PR during the day, and spends her nights trying out new restaurants in DC with friends or watching The Good Wife, Scandal, Bones and Grey’s Anatomy. A couple of years ago Tricia decided to eat at all of the 100 Very Best Restaurants until she realized she would be old and broke by the time she finished. Unfortunately, part of that fate might still come true due to her obsession with Uber.
