Nothing’s better on a cold-ass day than a mug of hot apple cider, mulled with whole cinnamon and cloves. I like adding a bit of butter for an element of savory, then whipped cream on top of that. If you like it “adult”erated, add some Bulleit Bourbon or dark liquor of your choice. Give it a good splash per mug. Then sit back and let the warmth take over you.

Hot Spiked Apple Cider
1 gallon apple cider
1 box of Wind & Willow Caramel Apple Cider Mix
4 whole cinnamon sticks
8 cloves
2 tablespoon butter
whipped cream
Bulleit Bourbon to taste
Pour apple cider into a large pot or slow cooker. Add Wind & Willow Caramel Apple Cider Mix, cinnamon sticks, cloves and butter and stir. Heat until mixture is hot but not boiling. Keep on warm and serve in individual mugs topped with whipped cream.
