Tonight: Anchor Brewing is launching a new product in our region–California Lager–and you can be the first to taste it at RedRocks on H St. from [5:30]-8:00 pm! Using a recipe from 1876, Anchor has
produced this crisp, unique lager with a beautiful golden color, distinctive aroma and a lingering creamy head.
Tomorrow: RedRocks in Arlington welcomes Sam Adams who will be pouring 3 tasty brews; Ruby Mild, Mischief Porter and the Rebel IPA. They will tell you stories of how a home brewer has made his product into one of the largest independently-owned breweries in the country.
Friday: Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week starts, with $35 dinners which showcase the talented local chefs in Old Town, Del Ray, the West End and more!

She cut her teeth at The Mandarin Oriental and The Ritz-Carlton hotels, working with Barbra Streisand, Vanessa Williams, Michael Stipe, LeVar Burton, Jane Krakowski and others. Mary founded Girl Meets Food in 2009 as a cover for her debilitating addiction to fried chicken and was named Washington Post’s “Favorite Local Foodie.” After 13 years in hospitality, she started freelance writing for USA Today, The Washington Post, Eater, Washington City Paper, and more. Today, she provides digital marketing for hospitality clients as a content creator who’s contently creating content.
