The tired, working class can now rejoice! Every day, Galley offers three dinner options to be delivered straight to your door between [5:00] -[8:30]PM. No more waiting forever for a pizza or Chinese. You can get fresh and healthy food delivered when you want it. The folks at Galley sent us dinner the other night and we had the option to choose from pan-roasted Salmon, BBQ Chicken, or Squash, Apple, and Goat Cheese Ravioli. We always lean towards a fish dish and our diet isn’t allowing pasta as a main dish right now, so we decided to go with the BBQ Chicken. After all, who can resist BBQ during the summer?
It’s CLEARLY not a TV dinner and it’s not a gourmet meal from a restaurant — Galley’s BBQ Chicken is in a class of its own. Galley doesn’t just send you the food with the basic instructions of “heat for 30 sec on high,” Galley sends you a text message letting you know to pre-heat your oven and your food is almost there. Once dinner arrives, there are more instructions varying heating options and how to optimize the plated presentation.
The dinner leaves you blissfully satisfied. The tangy-sweet barbeque sauce on the chicken balanced out the richness of the smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese and the light salad was a nice finishing touch. Here’s what was also offered that night:
Galley’s pan-roasted sustainable salmon is complimented by three summer fresh sides: peach avocado salsa, celery root purée and red quinoa. And guess what!? It’s gluten-free!
Galley’s squash, apple, and goat cheese ravioli was tempting! Bursting with color, a summer blend of butternut squash, asparagus, sweet potatoes, and Brussels sprouts sit atop the pasta. Want to try Galley Foods? Click here and your first meal is on us!
