The Loving Spoonful: Mokomandy’s Gator Tots
[Mary Kong] 01 05 2011The Loving Spoonful breaks out with extraordinary dining for the adventurous.
It’s a story as old as time. Korean boy meets Cajun girl. Korean boy marries Cajun girl and makes a home where Mokomandy owner Thaddeus Kim grew up on delicious Korean food and Cajun cooking. Lucky guy.

Mokomandy is a homage to Kim’s roots, hence the name—Modern Korean by Mandy.
If you love Cajun food as much as I do, you must try Mokomandy‘s simple gator croquettes, made from tender, mild-flavored Louisiana alligator.
Coarsely ground loins are sautéed in butter, onions, garlic, Cajun spices and house-made pecan-smoked bacon.
Coated in crispy, golden brown panko crumbs, they’re served with sauce piquante, made with poblanos, jalapeños, fresh tomatoes, dark roux, and house-made hot sauce.
It’s safer than alligator hunting.

Disgusting. I don’t know what part of the Bayou they lived in, but if any Korean boys look twice at the Cajun girls around Houma, well…we know what to do with those Korean boys. =)
I’m only posting your comment so that people can see what an imbecile you are.
