Filibuster Bourbon Launch Party

Dine N Dash with José Andrés

The District has its own handcrafted, dual cask, oak barrel bourbon whiskey.  Join Filibuster’s official launch party at The Passenger on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 3-6 pm.

Bourbon has its roots in the great American whiskey tradition. The Washington area has a rich history in whiskey. The Ricky was first mixed in the District with bourbon back in the 1880′s, on E Street at DC’s downtown Shoomakers Bar. The surrounding Appalachian range has long been home to distilling operations–sometimes controversial–dating all the way back to America’s founding and our famous Whiskey Rebellion. Available now, Filibuster can be found at bars, restaurants and stores around DC.
