AGAINN’s Wild Game Dinner Nov. 16th
[Mary Kong] 11 08 2010Join Executive Chef Wesley Mortono of AGAINN for a series of monthly dinners celebrating the fall hunting season for 2010!
The first dinner happens November 16, 2010 at 7 pm, starting with game keeper’s pâté with piccalilli, rosemary toast, cider jelly paired with artesian hard cider.
This special menu features:
Butter-roasted Scottish wood pigeon with wild mustard greens, huckleberry-thyme jus
Tempranillo Numanthia Termes
Duo of local venison, short rib crepinette and roasted rack with root vegetables, sage and spiced red wine jus
Newton Claret
Derbyshire Country Stilton with Scotch-date compote, house-made raisin bread
Lagavulin 16 Scotch
Dinner is $100 per a person, excluding tax and gratuity. Seating is limited to the first 30 guests, and reservations can be made by calling 202.639.9830.
