Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation® is the nation’s premier culinary benefit, featuring top chefs and mixologists—all of whom are coming together to donate their time, talent and passion to end childhood hunger in America.
Taste of the Nation® Washington, DC attendees can savor tastings from over sixty of the area’s leading restaurants, wine bars and mixologists. Leading DC’s culinary and beverage community are Chef Chair RJ Cooper of Vidalia, Mixologist Chair Derek Brown of The Passenger, and Wine Chair Nadine Brown of Charlie Palmer Steak.
Enjoy interactive mixology lessons, live DJ entertainment, and bid to win luxury items in the exciting silent auction.
Last year Washington, DC residents dined on some of the nation’s Capital’s finest cuisine. The sold-out event raised over $124,000 to fight childhood hunger locally and nationally.
Taste of the Nation® DC 2010 promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Each ticket purchased helps us in our ambitious campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015. In the wake of staggering reports that nearly half of all children in the U.S. will be on food stamps at the some point in their life, there is no time to waste. The time to act is now.
