After three years selling out Boston, Wine Riot launched a US tour hitting up LA, Boston, Chicago, New York and is now rolling into DC October 21-22, 2011!

Second Glass’s Wine Riot is not your parents’ wine tastings!  Sip over 250 different wines from every region of the world, all while rocking out with a few thousand of your closest friends.

Discover a new Cabernet from California, sip on a Malbec from Argentina, hit up German Rieslings and wash ’em down with grapes no one can pronounce from Portugal. Don’t want to fumble with a printed guide? Use the Second Glass Mobile App which allows you to mark your favorites so you can remember everything you try.

There will be free, 20-minute Crash Course Wine Seminars, a photo booth, temporary tattoos and a live DJ.   Enjoy food from Luke’s Lobster (for a few extra bucks), Cabot Cheese, Taza Chocolate and more!

On Fridays, we here at Girl Meets Food like to get pretty marinated, but we know when to abstain, too.

For example, after breakfast.

Not imbibing doesn’t make you square.  On the contrary.  Sometimes the situation just calls for it.

Like that time we rented a party bus in Atlantic City and Gérard Depardieu got so drunk, he peed all over the aisle.  We only partied for another hour after that.
